Retired Law Enforcement Association of Southwest Florida
501(c)(3) organization (Non-Profit Organization)
OUR HISTORY
The Retired Law Enforcement Officers Association was founded in 1980 and incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1986. The retired officers wanted to form a fraternal organization in which members who share a common bond could come together, share ideas, offer support, and work to improve working conditions for our active brothers and sisters in the law enforcement community.
Our association has over one hundred retired law enforcement and corrections officers as members. We represent over 50 agencies from more than twenty states.
We welcome you to check us out at our monthly meeting:
The Association meets the first Wednesday of every month at the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #66, 23300 Harper Avenue, Port Charlotte, Florida. A meal and refreshments are provided at 6:30 PM and the meeting starts immediately thereafter.
